The eL&G Pilot Program is administered by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (Air District).

This program provides vouchers of $700 to $15,000 per piece of equipment to help commercial landscapers, businesses, government agencies, and public schools scrap their old gas- and diesel-powered lawn and garden equipment and replace it with new electric equipment alternatives, including chainsaws, trimmers, edgers, brush cutters, leaf blowers, vacuums, walk-behind mowers, and ride-on or stand/sit mowers.

Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until all funds are awarded.

Who Can Apply

How it works

• Step 1 — See if you qualify: eligibility requirements here.
• Step 2 — Fill out the INTEREST FORM
• Step 3 — If criteria is met, Gardenland compiles documents and submits application to BAAQMD for approval. Once approved, voucher amounts are applied and the customer pays the remainder of the order, brings gas equipment to be destroyed and picks up new equipment.
