Summary

Gardenland is looking for a Store Manager. This is a full-time position, and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing leadership, inspiration and direction to previous teams. This role is responsible for the day to day operations of Warehouse & Assembly, Counter Sales, and the Service Shop. The chosen candidate will be responsible to create and execute a business plan to achieve store results which include achieving key performance indicators, sales plan, as well as other Company defined goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a high performing team that is ready to deliver high quality customer service
  • Set the expectation, evaluate, and coach direct reports on how to empathize and understand Gardenland’s customers
  • Set the expectations, and effectively communicate the processes for hiring, on-boarding, performance feedback and ongoing development to maintain highly effective teams
  • Engage and develop the Service Shop Manager through coaching, follow-up and recognition
  • Ensure the right amount of the right product is in the store at the right times for our customers. This also involves planning stock levels and monitoring the performance of the products 
  • Effectively communicate a clear vision to the team on operational goals and critical priorities
  • Manages store budget for daily operations and initiative in order to achieve business objectives tied to the P & L
  • Analyzes monthly results, identifies opportunities and makes decisions in collaboration with your team to drive customer satisfaction and engagement, sales and profit for the store

The Service Department Supervisor will be responsible for training, appraising, and supervising service and parts department employees as well as utilizing the most cost efficient and effective means for all service orders while upholding Gardenland’s customer service and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • The Service Department Supervisor will manage day-to-day operations including reviewing daily productivity reports; maintaining inventory and ordering parts; participating in department interviews, employee relations discussions, and terminations; creating cost budgets and profitability within the department
  • Produce & review productivity reports and do daily job schedules for all the mechanics & service technicians
  • They will be responsible for making sure all incoming service jobs are accurately diagnosed and with accurate estimates
  • The Service Department Supervisor will plan and coordinate schedules for the Parts Associates and Service Technicians to optimize productivity and ensure goals are being met
  • Customer service is of utmost importance at Gardenland. This position will be responsible for managing and driving positive customer experiences

Summary

Gardenland is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk. This is a full-time position and the ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role performing a variety of receiving and shipping tasks. 

Responsibilities

  • Receives and inspects shipments and signs paperwork upon receipt
  • Inspects shipments for damages, defects or discrepancies and follows up with vendor
  • Verifies information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment (quantity, quality, price, etc.)
  • Sorts, packages, labels and delivers product to appropriate departments (stock, work orders or special orders)
  • Contacts customers with special orders received
  • May operate dolly or pallet jack in loading and unloading product/small equipment

Gardenland is currently looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate. The ideal candidate will support our company’s warehouse operation. The Warehouse Associate will receive, input, sort, load and unload products and will perform other various warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

  • Organize stocks and maintain inventory.
  • Inspect products for defects and damages.
  • Examine incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Organize warehouse space.
